Tadworth batted first and after losing a couple of early wickets Stevenson (105) and Lawry (61 no) accelerated the scoring rate enabling Tadworth to declare on 222-5 after just 40 overs. Chris Douse, Craig Jones and Jack Bowley all took one wicket apiece.

In reply Turner (13) and Edwarde (13) put on an opening partnership of 31 but then three quick wickets fell and it was left to Simon Capel (39 no) to play a patient innings and try to play for the draw. Peter Trower (18) and Jose de Castro (12) assisted him and for the second year running Tadworth had to settle for the winning draw. Hardy took 2-13 from seven overs and Ardley 3-31.
