Woodmansterne batted first and scored 98 in their allotted overs. Although the fielding was tight Newdigate still bowled too many wides. After losing a quick wicket Jack Wyllie (29 no), Harry Ramsey (29 no) and Alex Miller (23 no) steered the team to safety.
