Newdigate U14 90-6 vs Horley U14 64 all out

 

League leaders Newdigate travelled to Horley and struggled early on with the bat having lost both openers with only 11 on the board. Will Bennett (23) accelerated the score and he was assisted by Fraser Mosley (13) and Alex Miller (16 no) so after their twenty overs Newdigate reached a total of 90-6. Thw wickets were shared amongst the Horley bowlers.

 

At 21-1 with Plater (21) going well, Horley's hopes were high but they suffered a dramatic collapse losing nine wickets for just 42 as they were dismissed for 64 in the 19th over. Harry Ramsey, Jack Wyllie and Will Roberts all took two wickets apiece.
